Fortnite players are deep into Chapter 2: Season 4 of the game right now, which has been all about the Marvel universe.  With each passing week, a new Marvel ability has dropped into the game, letting players live out their comic book fantasies.  The latest to drop into the Battle Royale map was Black Panther’s Kinetic Armor, which comes with a powerful ability.  We’ve got the info on where you can find this ability, and how to put it to good use.

Location

As of right now, there are two different ways to get your hands on Black Panther’s Kinetic Armor.  The easiest way to do so is to hop into Fortnite’s Marvel Standoff LTM.  This mode is chock-full of superpowers, and there’s no doubt Black Panther’s Kinetic Armor will spawn on the map.  There’s no set location to visit for this power-up, so you’ll just have to keep your eye out for drops throughout the map.  Luckily these drops happen throughout the entire game, so it shouldn’t be long until you come across one.

The second way to find Black Panther’s Kinetic Armor is a lot more random, but it does give you specific locations to visit.  Head out to any of the Quinjet landing sites and look up to the skies.  You should see a number of cargo drones flying about overhead.  Any of those cargo drones could be carrying Black Panther’s Kinetic Armor.  With four different Quinjet landing sites and grouping of drones at each, you’ll at least have multiple chances to uncover the power-up.

Usage

Once you find Black Panther’s Kinetic Armor, it’s time to dominate the opposition.  As with any other superpower in the game, Black Panther’s Kinetic Armor is mapped to one of your weapon slots.  Once you select it, just pull the trigger and the armor will start to suck up energy.  After a few seconds, a giant purple blast will radiate out from your character.  This is Black Panther’s Kinetic Shockwave, and it will send any enemies in your immediate vicinity flying away at breakneck speeds.

While this power can be used against anyone that gets in your way, don’t forget to take advantage of it for Fortnite’s latest set of weekly challenges.  In particular, one challenge asks you to dish out damage to an enemy after you knock them back with Black Panther’s Kinetic Shockwave.  All you have to do is hit an enemy with the shockwave, and then follow up with another attack.  As long as you land some hits, be it with a traditional weapon or another superpower, you’ll complete the challenge and earn an incredible 50,000 Season XP.
